Under Cover Profits Adwords Spy Software!

There is a new software that was launched on 27th March called Under Cover Profits. It basically helps you sniff out profitable campaigns by monitoring Adwords ads for a period of time. If the ad is running everyday for a month for a specific keyword then its very likely that the advertiser is making money. You would of course have to key in all the keywords that you’d like to monitor and Under Cover Profits does the rest. There are only 300 licenses available and I would have signed up for it had it been a little cheaper. The software is subscription based and costs a whopping $291 a month.

Keyword Elite pretty much offers the same feature but Under Cover Profits does provide additional analysis and rates the profitability of each keyword/ad. In my most recent campaign I’ve pretty much relied on competition analysis to determine profitable keywords. This is beneficial especially in highly competitive niches where the CPC’s are high. Relying on competition analysis saves you the money that you would have burnt in testing the keywords on your own.

How To Profit In Competitive Markets!

Adwords, Clickbank 1 Comment »

I took a break over the weekend and although I do admit to checking my sales now and again I didn’t work on any of my campaigns. I decided to take some time off as I was feeling a little burnt out! Two days seemed time out enough. I then decided to revive one of my campaigns. I had given up on that campaign cuz it was just too competitive. $1 per click to be on the first page. During my little time out it came to me that these markets MUST be profitable else there just wouldn’t be other affiliates in the playing field.

I was determined to give it another go and make it work. This time I was armed with my new Wordtracker subscription and Keyword Elite software. I put up about 10 ad groups and went to bed. I priced all the keywords at $0.7. Woke up to find only 20 clicks!! You can imagine my disappointment. Despite all that effort only 20 clicks? Upon further inspection I found out that my CPC was just too low. My ad positions were on the second page and CTR was horrible and below 1%.

Struggling To Duplicate A Successful Campaign?

General, Adwords, Clickbank 2 Comments »

FrustratedA picture says a thousand words and thats exactly how I feel right now…in fact thats been how I’ve been feeling since I deleted my download movie campaign. Ok here’s a little run down on whats been happening with me.

December 06 -  1x campaign bringing in $2000 profit

January 07 till mid March 07 - 4x campaigns bringing in a total of $4000 profit

Mid March till today - Back to 1x campaign bringing in $2000 profit (the other 3 campaigns had to get canned due to copyright infringement by Google)

I’ve lost approximately 50% revenue. Although I started preparing for this sometime mid Feb by building new campaigns I just can’t seem to get any of my test campaigns going! Sure I make a few sales on these new campaigns but I’m struggling to make them profitable thanks to creeping ad costs.

Xtreme Conversions vs Rich Jerk Xray Domination…

Adwords, Recommendations 6 Comments »

I mentioned in my last few posts that I purchased a PHP script to help track my keyword conversions. The PHP script that I purchased is called Xtreme Conversions. Although there isn’t quite enough info provided on the features on the Rich Jerk Xray Domination software it seems as though keyword conversion tracking is definitely included. The Xray Domination package includes a whole set of videos and reports and is pretty much a full course on PPC affiliate marketing (also very expensive at $997)

If you’re just looking for a software that tracks keyword conversions without requiring merchant involvement then Xtreme Conversions will do the trick. Its the only software I’ve come across that pretty much tracks keyword conversions with minimal effort. If you wanted to track each keyword, you can either rely on Google’s conversion tracking which I’ve found to be highly inaccurate or you can use the Clickbank TID and manually tag each keyword with a unique ID. Xtreme Conversions basically automates the process of tagging each keyword with a Clickbank TID with the use of a PHP script. It also provides a reporting feature that allows you to look up the TID and corresponding keyword that brought in the sale.

Rich Jerk’s Xray Domination Is Live!

Rich jerks xray dominationAt the time of writing there are only 2 hours left before the Rich Jerks removes his Xray Domination package. I’ve read through the sales copy and I must admit that I was extremely tempted to purchase it (right up until I saw the price tag!) It was way above my budget for the month so I decided against it. There are basically two versions that you can purchase. The hosted version where the software is hosted on RJ’s site (thats going for $997) and the self-hosted version where you buy the license to the software so you own it and can host it wherever you like (thats going for $1497).

The Xray Domination product is a package of video tutorials, worksheets, interviews, coaching as well as the Xray software. There wasn’t a lot of detail provided on how the software works but it seems to be a sort of keyword conversion tracking tool that doesn’t require any merchant involvement. I’m thinking Clickbank TID. It certainly looks interesting so to anyone’s who’s purchased it, feel free to leave your comments on the product….
