Starting An Internet Marketing Business…

General, Building Internet Marketing Business No Comments »

I never thought today would come so soon…I met up with a tax advisor today to get some advice on structuring my internet business. I’ve planned to register my internet marketing company in June and have over the past month been doing the necessary business and resource planning. I intend to start off with one full time employee to assist me in some of the projects that I just haven’t had the time to focus on such as my ebay business and am as we speak awaiting the development of my own ebook. Its been a great year and things really started picking in Dec last year to the point that I just don’t have enough hours in a day to focus on all my little internet oil wells.

Affiliate marketing and Google Adwords will always be my focus but I’ve planned to diversify into other internet marketing areas to spread my risk. I recently downloaded a podcast interview with this guy who lost his Adsense revenue of over $70k a month overnight when Google decided not to do business with him anymore. It was apparently due to the nature of his sites that were mostly automated content generated sites. That freaked me out not because I develop such sites but because of the sheer dependency of my income on Google Adwords.

My internet marketing company will focus on Google Adwords/affiliate marketing (currently 100% Clickbank) & ebay for now.  Am also thinking of branching into internet marketing consultancy but perhaps at a later stage once all the processes are in place. I’ve been doing a lot of research and reading on how to effectively build & manage an internet marketing business and came across Rich Schefren who is a business coach and has helped some of the biggest names in the internet marketing field grow their businesses to multi million dollar ones. I love his work. In fact Rich has recently launched a new video and its great stuff. You can find all the links to his videos on his blog.
