Chris Carpenter’s Google Cash Detective!

Adwords, Clickbank No Comments »

There’s a new software by Chris Carpenter called the Google Cash Detective. I’m already a member of John Jonas’s Under Cover Profits and Google Cash Detective is a similarish type of software that monitors Adwords competition. Chris has a free report and a couple of free videos of the Google Cash Detective in action. It supports quite a few features that is currently not available in Under Cover Profits such as :-

1) Landing page tracking (this will be implemented shortly in UCP as well according to John Jonas)
2) Keyword searches (GCD shows you the estimated cost and number of searches for the keywords you are monitoring)
3) Google conversion tracking (not sure how this works but apparently GCD allows you to track keyword conversions as well)

Some of the big names such as Stephen Pierce, Armand Morin and Jay Abraham will be there as well. Better get my travelling and accommodation sorted asap…..If any of you are gonna be there as well then do come and say hello. The tickets are very reasonably priced at SGD197 as compared to all the other World Internet Summits so its a good time to snap it up while you can. To my first ever World Internet Summit - here I come…

My new Dell laptop has arrived

General No Comments »

I ordered a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop a week ago and it arrived yesterday. I usually travel back and forth between my apartment and my mum and dads place every day. I’ve got a desktop here in my apartment but preferred a laptop for home mobility (e.g working in front of the tv, on a sofa..you get the idea). Rather than having the lug my laptop back and forth I decided to get another laptop. I know it sounds ridiculous since laptops are supposed to be portable anyway but I like big screens and my shoulder was beginning to give way. Anyway here are the specs :-

I’ve made $7 with CPA

Adwords, CPA Networks 6 Comments »

As a follow up to my previous post where I had just started with CPA networks I thought I’d report on my progress. I’ve applied to and been approved by three different CPA networks - Azoogle, COPEAC and MaxBounty. I had some problems with accessing the COPEAC links as the links only seem to be displayed if you’re accessing the site from a US ip. I contacted the affiliate manager but never got a reply. I’ve been busy so I just never followed up on that. In the meantime I set up two campaigns. Both of them were email submit offers that paid out ~$1 per lead. Two offers from Azoogle and the third from Max Bounty.

I had problems direct linking with quite a few of the Max Bounty offers. Was hit with very high minimum bids and it seems that a landing page is definitely required. I then moved on to Azoogle. With Azoogle I found the quality of the merchant pages a little better (from a Google quality score standpoint) that I was able to direct link with fairly low minimum bids.

Here are the stats from both of my campaigns :-

Total clicks : 123
Total leads : 23
Conversion rate : 18%
Total ad costs : $16.4
Total commission earned : $24.05
Total profit : $7
