I was surfing around some of the affiliate marketing forums over the weekend and came across a CPA network section. CPA stands for Cost-Per-Action and a CPA network is pretty much similar to Clickbank accept CPA network merchants pay you everytime a specific action is taken. Most of the merchants on these networks will pay you per lead. So all the visitor has to do is to key in his email address on the merchant site and you get paid! Sounds a whole lot easier than having to actually sell anything. Or is it?
At the forum I was at, there was a lot of talk about how affiliates who were once Clickbank affiliates have now moved into the CPA marketplace due to much higher conversion rates and superior tracking system. After reading this I was tempted to try it out and see…I did some reading up and even applied to some of the most popular ones such as Azoogle and COPEAC. Application and approval took a quite awhile as for Azoogle I had to send via airmail a W8 form. COPEAC approved my application within 2-3 days. I haven’t actually started promoting them yet as I’ve had some questions and am awaiting replies from my account affiliate manager. Here are my thoughts :-
1) Higher conversions? As the average conversion rate for Clickbank products is 1% I would definitely expect a higher conversion rate from CPA products. The question however is…will the low payout be able to turn a profit? This depends on how much you pay per click. Let’s do a simple calculation :-
CPC - $0.2
Pay per lead - $1.50
Assumed conversion rate - 30% (no idea if this is accurate as I’ve yet to test it)
Daily clicks - 100
Daily ad costs - $20
Daily sales - $45
Daily profit - $25
Now thats not bad at all for such little effort. Let’s see if a 30% conversion rate is reasonable. Next…
2) Product Life Span? From what I’ve read on the forum, CPA products are not like Clickbank products where you can expect them to be around for years. CPA products are in most cases short term offers so you gotta keep on adding new ones.
As soon as I get a reply from my account affiliate managers I’ll start up a small test campaign and post up my results right here.

I signup COPEAC a while ago and the problem is I can’t view the leads destination page. It’s because most of the leads offer are for people from USA , so when I click to view the destination page, the system detects where I come from and it will redirect me to the green cards web site. I try by pass the proxy but still to no avail. Have you overcome this problem?

Congrat for you on deciding to try CPA offers. Azoogle is great but there are many CPA networks like Maxbounty and or Millnic Media.
I’ve been with Azoogle about 4 months now and earning around USD 100-USD200 per month. It could be more but I’m so lazy. So many project to handle.
I’m also been invited from another CPA networks like Advaliant and I’d try one offers and manage to earn USD300 per month from them.
CPA offers is easy than Clickbank cause visitors usually don’t need to buy something just enter their email or zip code, you got paid for it.
Good luck…
