Wow…I just realized that its been a good 2 months since I last posted on my blog. Guess I’ve been busy with Christmas preparations, New Year parties and now Chinese New Year celebrations. How time flies! Heres a quick update on whats been happening :-
1) My Adsense blog project has suddenly picked up
I mentioned in one my previous post (a couple of months ago) that I had a failed Adsense blog project. I have not touched my blog since and lo and behold when I checked my blog traffic stats I was blown away. If you remember this blog is just a collection of articles (from articles directories) with a couple of Adsense ads plastered all over. Within 3 months I had massive traffic and a month after traffic just screeched to a halt where I was getting 20 visitors a day and negligible Adsense income. Since then I have not touched the blog. Today I did a quick check on the traffic stats and guess what? Have a look at my traffic screenshot below :-
I’ve actually been getting on average 500 unique visitors a day. How did that happen? I then had a look at my Adsense account and I made $15 last month. Not bad eh considering I’ve hardly worked on this blog at all. Now I’m inspired to put more effort into it and will look into inserting some unique content and testing & tweaking Adsense placement.
Sometime last year I signed up to….uhm…gosh I completely forgot the name of the membership site but its Article something. Its basically a membership site where you’re provided with a bunch of keyword optimized articles every month. The concept here is to create as many mini sites as possible using these articles (which you are required to modify if you really want totally unique content) and assuming a trickle of Adsense income everyday to each site. 1000 sites making each $1 a day will make you a total of $1000 a day. $1 a day per site is definitely workable. I’ve done it with my blog site with very little effort. I guess you could either churn out as many blogs or mini sites as you can on your own or you could hire someone to do it for you. Either way 1000 blogs seems like a huge feat…
Break it down though and perhaps it doesn’t sound so bad. Lets look at it this way :-
Day 1 - conduct research on 10x blog topics and keywords
Day 2 & 3 - register 10x domain names & install blog platform on hosting server
Day 4 - Start posting articles up on your blogs & inserting Adsense
Fast forward 2 months ahead and you should be earning at least $5-$10 per day from these blogs.
To make say RM5000 a month (which is pretty decent salary in Malaysia) you’d need to be making RM167 a day or USD50. Assuming one blog makes you USD1 all you need are 50 blogs. Hire a team of people to work on those blogs and that number increases exponentially. Doesn’t sound like such a big feat now does it?

Yet another nice post! Thanks Cheryl :).
As “they” say, Adsense is just a numbers game…..
This membership site you’re referring to….is it Article Underground?
By the way….in your post at http://www.netbizasia.net/my-shocking-discovery-about-adwords-affiliate-marketers/ you mentioned about scanning your PPC blueprint and you said you’d share it with us, and how’s that coming along? We’d all be so glad to have it! =)

I had an account with Google Adsense once but it got banned because of invalid clicks on my website.
I was wondering, is it possible to use a friend’s account and let the friend serve Ads on my website?

Hey Franklin,
Oh yes it was Article Underground. I terminated my membership after 2 months cuz I found that the articles were broadly spread across too many topics that I ended up being able to utilize only a handful of articles. Its not cheap either at if I recall correctly ~USD99 per month.
The blueprint is on its way. I keep on changing and adding little steps along the way. I must say I’ve yet to perfect my blueprint but I will work on it and get it up as soon as i can.

Hey Nadlique,
I don’t see a problem with that except for the checks that will be made out in your friends name.

Terima kasih Cheryl! So excited about the blueprint…..I hope you’ll put it up soon =).
About Article Underground: I’ve heard many people have success with it…..but I still think to get the best value, we still need to modify those articles (to make them unique) since we share them with the other members.
New blog theme eh…..nice! By the way where’s your “Contact” page? It seems to have disappeared. How do we contact you personally?
Cheers!

You really should consider creating some type of product for each market and blog. Your sales won’t be high, but they will be about 10 times adsense income. Not to mention that information from James Brausch says that sdsense actually hurts ranking after a while. I avoid adsense at all costs.

Hi Cheryl,
I have 2 questions :0
Do you have a rss feed to your blog ?
Do you have an expired landing page example ? Is it structured like a blog or its a one page landing page ? I know its too much to ask for, its perfectly fine if you are not comfortable showing cos I understand you need to protect your niches too. Just tot of asking.

But register 10 WEBSITE!!Is it too much? How can you do that?If you have, perhaps you can share all your 10 links, coz i find that to attract traffics to a new website takes time, maybe you have tactic to drive traffics to new website within shor period. Please share.
