Ok its been awhile since I last posted on my blog. Reason? Believe it or not I’ve been getting carried away with Facebook. I never understood the hype surrounding all these social network sites but now I can’t seem to stop checking my Facebook newsfeed. I’ve been able to contact my long lost classmates, friends, colleagues, family members…you name it. Its truly amazing and now I see what all the hype is about. I’ve been bombarded with super pokes, hugs, hatching eggs, vampire bites and even vodka. Its good fun! Now to pull myself away and back into work.
Last night I attended the Live n Loud KL to watch Shaggy & Whitney Houston perform. Wow…I must say I was truly impressed. The stage setup and audio was excellent. Shaggy & Whitney gave excellent performances and well above what I expected. Great stuff! The energy that nite was amazing. I’ll definitely do it again. Today I also ordered a Blackberry Curve on eBay. Can’t wait till it gets here. I’ve been avoiding getting one cuz I figured I didn’t want to be checking emails 24/7 but then I realized that I had been missing important emails (mostly ones with PPC billing issues) that were costing me sales. Sorry Tim Ferris but the 4 hour work week will have to be put on the back burner for now.
Now to more serious matters…I’ve been neglecting work for a bit but for good reason. I’ve recently outsourced more and more of my work to my full time staff. This includes designing of landing pages. keyword research and even ad group creation. Now I’m able to free up more time and focus on strategic planning instead. Initially I was hesitant to outsource ad group creation as I didn’t want to disclose my PPC accounts but I’ve been able to create a sub account on Yahoo and given my staff access to only the specific campaigns that are being worked out.
My plan now is to basically just rinse and repeat the cycle. Other than PPC marketing I purchased Google Payload the other day. Haven’t finished watching the videos but am gonna give traffic arbitrage a go. Need to build multiple income streams as soon as possible for business continuity. Am also working on article marketing but haven’t quite had the time to focus on it. Will have to design a process map and outsource that as well. Anyway….its Sunday so today I’ll just lay back, kick my legs up and enjoy the weekend! Hope you have a good one too….

Hi Cheryl,
Welcome back. Was wondering for a while as there wasnt any updates from your blog. Always looking forward to see new post from you. Did you get your outsource person from elance ? I always wanted to tread this carefully as I am not sure how trustworthy that person can be. How do you gauge if this outsource party is able to perform the tasks you require him to do ?

Yeah, I also addict to Facebook. Login everyday at least once to check friends, add friends, read message, feeding my pet, other people pets… a lot of fun of using Facebook. In fact, this is a better one compare to MySpace which is quite spammy nowadays.
Right now I am trying to study how the Facebook well for my marketing, seems like a big potential in Facebook.

Hey Melvin,
I actually got my virtual employee from a company called AgentsOfValue in the Phillipines. They came highly recommended by some of the internet marketers such as Russell Bronson and a couple others (can’t remember who)
I thought I’d give it a go as the company was recommended. I also don’t expose too much information especially things like my Adwords account etc. The activities that I outsource are mostly web page design, link cloaking, keyword research.
