You’re probably thinking - what a weird title post! Last night I watched The Pursuit Of Happyness (starring Will Smith). Its an inspirational story about Chris Gardner who faced major challenges in his life and eventually became the owner of a multi million dollar brokerage firm. Its heart wrenching as you see Chris trying to juggle his internship programme with his son’s daycare and homeless shelters all in the search for financial independence. After watching the show I just realized how ‘determination & persistence’ are the two pillars in the success of any internet marketer. I’ve found that to get to where I am today I’ve had to muster the determination & strength I never knew existed and repeat the ‘I will not quit’ mantra countless times a day…
To be honest, succeeding in internet marketing is not difficult. It just takes a lot of time and effort. Take for example my PPC campaigns. In takes failure after failure to find one profitable niche. There were many many times where I just wanted to give up and go back to that day job! Yet I just kept telling myself..’the next one will be the one’…Success in internet marketing is more about mindset than technical capability or intelligence.
