Under Cover Profits Works! Case Study Part 2
Adwords, Recommendations, Adwords Case Studies, Clickbank Add commentsIts been a great weekend. Weekend sales are always the best for me. Today April 8th Clickbank retires their legacy system and users will no longer be able to login via the old legacy form. This according to Clickbank should improve on the tracking issues resulting in sales gaps that has been a huge complaint for a long time now. This in turn works out to more profits for us affiliates…yay…let’s wait and see how it turns out!
On a more joyful note…I wrote a couple of days ago that I had signed up to Under Cover Profits and started a new campaign based on the pre-monitored data provided. Here are the results :-
Total Clicks : 174
Total Sales : 2 @ $18 per sale
Conversion Rate : 1.1%
Total Commission Earned : $36
Total Ad Costs : $53
Total Profit = -$17
I made two sales at a conversion rate of 1.1% (which is ok but should increase after I delete non-profitable keywords) and am still running at a $17 loss. I started my campaign with fairly high min bids at $0.45 so as my quality score goes up and I slowly drop my bid prices I should start making some profits.
These stats are for a 2.5 day period (I should make another sale today) so if we assume a sale a day and the following stats :-
Total Clicks Per Day :100 (by adding a few more keywords)
Total Sales Per Day : 1 @ $18 per sale
Conversion Rate : 1.1%
Cost Per Click : 0.12
Total Ad Costs Per Day : $12
Total Profit Per Day : $6
Total Profit Per Month : $180
So that may not seem like much but $180 per month from just a handful of keywords is a lot of money. Just duplicate that 10x and you could be making $1800 and more per month. It took my 2 days to make sales and today as I reduce my bid prices I should start making a profit within the next few days.
Also as this data is obtained from the pre-monitored data, its super competitive. I’ve since added loads of my own keywords for all kinds of Clickbank products and will let it run for a month. You don’t have to wait a whole month but I want to be sure that the campaigns are profitable. I’m happy with Under Cover Profits and now all I need to do is to make enough to cover the monthly subscription costs. Thats my challenge this month. I’ll keep ya’ posted!
